Portable gantry crane is a small, stand-alone lifting device designed to provide reliable heavy-duty handling capabilities in locations where fixed overhead crane installation is not feasible. The core of the equipment is a robust and durable main beam, a key component for load-bearing and lifting. Combined with height-adjustable columns, a stable base frame, and heavy-duty casters, the entire machine can be moved freely without disassembly, flexibly adapting to various workstation needs.

Parts

Main Beam：The core load-bearing component, constructed from high-strength Q345B I-beams or box-section steel beams. It supports the entire working load from the trolley and hoist, distributing it evenly to the upright columns on both sides.
Adjustable Columns：Heavy-duty, telescoping steel columns featuring multiple locking positions. This design allows for rapid adjustment of the working height—without the need to replace the main beam—to meet the requirements of various operational scenarios.
Lifting Hoist：Available as manual chain hoist, electric chain hoist, or wire rope hoist. The hoist mounts to a push trolley or motorized trolley that travels the full beam span.
Trolley：The trolley rides along the bottom flange of the main beam for smooth lateral load travel. Push type for light-duty applications; motorized for frequent or heavy-duty cycles.
Heavy-Duty Casters：Swivel casters with locking brakes allow the entire assembled crane to be moved and repositioned by one or two operators, then locked firmly in place during lifts.
Safety Lock Pins：Hardened steel pins secure every height-adjustment point, preventing unintended height changes under load and ensuring compliance with lifting safety standards.
Diagonal Braces and Base Frame：Diagonal braces securely connect the upright columns to the flared base frame, effectively eliminating lateral sway and providing a stable support foundation—whether on level indoor floors or uneven outdoor terrain.
Control System：Standard equipment includes a pendant control box for manual operation. An optional wireless remote control is available to enhance operational visibility and safety during complex lifts or in confined spaces. For larger equipment models, an optional Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) speed controller is also available.

Robust and Durable Main Beam Structure: Constructed from Q345B steel using precision CNC cutting and full-penetration welding processes. Prior to shipment, every unit undergoes a static load test at 125% of its rated capacity, ensuring documented structural reliability.

Adjustable Span up to 12 Meters: The telescoping or bolt-extension beam accommodates a working span from 2 m to 12 m, letting one crane serve multiple bay widths across your facility.

Lifting Height up to 15 Meters: Height-adjustable uprights extend the hook travel distance to 15 meters. This makes the unit ideal for multi-level mezzanines, high-bay facilities, and high-rack warehouses—eliminating the need to install fixed overhead cranes.

Flexible Control Options: Standard operation is via a pendant control box, allowing the operator to remain in close proximity to the load. An optional wireless remote control is available to enhance visibility and safety during complex lifting operations, thereby minimizing operational risks.

Multiple Hoist Configurations Available: Choose manual chain hoist for budget or low-frequency use, electric chain hoist for medium-duty cycles, or wire rope hoist for demanding, high-frequency production lifting.
